Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Step Club platform, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the service.

To participate in groups or meetings, you may be required to create an account. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your account and password and to restrict access to your computer or device. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

Step Club provides a platform for groups to organize meetings with the aim of supporting each other in recovery. Groups are self-managed and responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Membership in a group and participation in meetings is voluntary, and all members are expected to respect the privacy and anonymity of others.

Meetings can be open or closed. Closed meetings are only for those with a sincere desire to stay clean and sober. Meeting formats include Chairperson Choice, Topic Discussion, Open Discussion, Book Study, Step Study, and Speaker meetings. All participants are expected to adhere to the meeting rules and etiquette outlined by the hosting group.

You agree to use Step Club only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the platform. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within Step Club.

Respect for each other's privacy and anonymity is a cornerstone of Step Club. By using the platform, you agree to uphold these principles in all interactions.

Step Club uses email notifications to inform you of upcoming meetings and roles you are assigned within those meetings. By creating an account, you consent to receive these notifications.

Step Club reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that Step Club shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

You agree that Step Club may, under certain circumstances and without prior notice, immediately terminate your Step Club account and access to the Service. Cause for such termination shall include, but not be limited to, breaches or violations of the Terms.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of Step Club's operation, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
